The essence of thermal waste treatment is high-temperature incineration in a closed system, reducing the original volume by up to 90–95%.
The remaining materials are carefully managed: slag and ash are professionally placed or forwarded for further utilization, metals are recycled, and the steam we generate is supplied to nearby industrial partners or used for our own heating.
Different waste types require different feeding methods (shredded, manually fed, or pumped from tanks). Based on laboratory analysis, we determine the appropriate treatment process.
The generated heat is used to produce steam, which is partly utilized on-site and partly supplied to surrounding industrial partners.
Flue gases produced during incineration are cleaned through a multi-stage system. The conditioning tower, bag filter, dioxin adsorber, alkaline scrubber, and the 40-meter chimney all work to ensure minimal environmental impact. Continuous emission monitoring is an integral part of the system, providing real-time insight into all emissions.
At ECOMISSIO’s facilities in Tiszaújváros and Tiszavasvári, non-recyclable hazardous industrial waste is safely treated in full compliance with environmental regulations.

The entire technology is managed by a computerized process control system. Fire-detection and camera systems, along with a dedicated firewater tank and protective infrastructure, ensure operational safety.
The site is fully contained: all potential leaks, liquids, and precipitation are collected and controlled, preventing any direct environmental contamination.
